The town has a population of approximately 7,000 plus all the facilities necessary for year round living.
There are a variety of shops, supermarkets, banks, bakeries, a chemist, a medical centre and every Wednesday, the local market is a hive of activity.
On the outskirts of Villamarchante, you will find several urbanisations where most of the properties for sale are situated.
Many of these are set amongst the beautiful pine clad countryside with spectacular views towards the Sierrra Calderona mountain range in the distance.
The area of "La Rodana" just outside Villamarchante has been declared a natural park, and is well worth a visit.
